STACY JILL CALVERT

Stacy Jill Calvert is an award-winning writer, director and producer from Los Angeles. For over 20+ years, she has worked in film, television, digital media and live events.

Her experimental short film, ROAD TRIP, won 3rd place – short film at the Embarras Valley Film Festival in 2014. Stacy’s directorial narrative debut, THE BRA MITZVAH screened at over 20 festivals around the world, including Film Pride (Brighton, UK) The Reeling LGBTQ+ International Film Festival (Chicago), the Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival & the Seattle Queer Film Festival. It is currently nominated for the 2023 Best of New Filmmakers LA Award for a comedy short.

She is currently in development of her first feature documentary, JAKE, JANIE & Me, and writing a narrative feature film set in the 1990s.

Stacy earned her MFA in Media Arts from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
